Helen Morrison, a Milwaukee native, graduated from the University of Utah where she was a Fine Arts major. A professional actress, she has performed in such musicals as A Chorus Line and West Side Story. Since coming to Japan she has recorded for Yamaha and appeared in TV commercials. She has also acted as a business woman on NHK TV Business World, done recordings for JAL, ANA, Toshiba, Narita Airport, records a weekday News program from her home studio and appeared in a drama at the Canadian Embassy, entitled 'Problem Child.'

She currently works as a narrator and voice actress and sings regularly at Jazz clubs, including Tokyo Dome Hotel and Fusion Club and The Piano Club in Roppongi.
