Description:

We now are proud to introduce a new kind of tasting event--for shochu. As many of you will know, shochu is a distinctive Japanese alcoholic spirit made most notably in Kyushu from any manner of ingredients--soba, sweet potatoes, rice, barley, etc. In fact, some wags have said you can make shochu from almost anything. The Minami Satsuma area of southern Kagoshima, located at Japan's southern tip, has long been known for its sweet potato production. Crystal-dear spring water from nearby Kannoko Spring is used in crafting all shochu sprits product by Satsuma Shuzo. To accompany the shochu we will be providing Kagoshima specialties from Kagoshima pref. and special Press Club snacks. Don't miss this special , generous event at a mere 3,000 yen per person.Purchases of shochu will be available by credit card.
